1. I'm not really a fan of mango. Bleck. But fresh pineapple is about 8293742938 times better than canned pineapple.
2. Even if you use a recipe, homemade sesame chicken is nothing like restaurant sesame chicken.
3. Diet Dr. Pepper makes me happy.
4. I had a dream about Twilight last night, like the movie was playing in my head. I have not read the book, nor have I seen the movie, but rest assured, the dream was nothing like either of them.
5. Today I am doing the work of 1) a receptionist, 2) an editor, and 3) a professional associate (WTF-ever that means--it's like a junior consultant in my company). Are any of these my actual job? Don't be ridiculous.
6. I'm done with headaches now, kthxbye.
Well, now we know Baby Dew is most likely a girl, and we've fairly settled on the first name of Mallory.
However, on the middle name . . . not so settled. Every time I say, "What about Mallory _____ ?" Steve says, "I need to look at the list again" (at which point I repeat to him the entire list from memory, and then he goes back to not talking about it).
So anyway, give me more opinions*.
*I'm still not really going to let you all name my baby, but it's fun to ask.

Any other middle name suggestions?
Also, just as an FYI, I'm feeling rather posty today, so sorry in advance about spamming your f'list. :)
Some of these names are family names or have other sentimental value (which is why a few of the choices may seem weird), but most of them are just names we like. Names that have slashes are <Proper Name/Nickname>.
So vote for all you like, and make some suggestions of your own!

Warning: I am very eclectic in my books! I have everything from self-help to classic literature to short story collections to cookbooks (no cookbooks in this post, but there will be eventually).
I will admit right now that I haven't read most of these books, but the fact is I'm never going to. *shrugs* They're in pretty good condition, though a few of them (particularly the French ones) may have some notes written in them. Many of them have never even been cracked open. Heck, I'll even dust them off before I send them out. :)
If you would like to have one or more of these books, please let me know. Comment here and I'll cross your book off the list, and if I don't already have your address, please email it to me at miss_elisha at hotmail dot com. Also, this post isn't locked, so if you have friends who you think might be interested, send them on over!
If you don't want any of these, don't worry. They will be donated to a local book sale coming up to support kids/schools or some such (I have a flyer around here somewhere), so they'll go to a worthy cause. Besides, this is just the first shelf, and there will be more.

I don't always come across as the most environment-friendly person on the planet (and I guess I'm not), but I AM all about reducing the crap I have and use. And saving trees is always a good thing in my printed-on-100%-post-consumer-content book, so this tidbit of info just struck me as significant.
If all U.S. households swore off paper bills, the reduction in paper would save 16.5 million trees a year.
That's a lot of trees.

THANK YOU!!!
Seriously, I'm using this information, and you've all been very helpful.
And now, I know you're all wondering who the winner of the custom made handbag is, so I won't keep you in the dark any longer.
So, a poll!
Now, I know everyone loves polls (Weeee! Buttons! *clicky clicky*), but this poll comes with incentive. One person completing this poll will receive a custom bag handmade by yours truly. I will let you pick out the fabric and the style (as long as it's not unreasonably expensive or difficult--and we're not talking Fendi here, people), and I might even have it to you by Christmas (we'll talk).
The last question is "pick a number between 1 and 100." If you want to be eligible to win the bag, make sure you fill this one in. The person closest to the number I've chosen will receive the bag. I've already told Natalie the magic number, so I can't be accused of picking favorites or any crap like that. The poll will be open until midnight EST tomorrow, December 11, 2007. I'm not locking this post, so feel free to send friends over to vote as well.
Any questions? Ask away.
And now, on to the poll!
